Technical Sales Engineer

As part of a small sales and marketing team the role involves supporting existing business and maintaining current customer relationships, as well as developing new business opportunities
Key responsibilities::
Supporting internal and external sales staff.
Preparation of quotes.
Managing sales follow up and reporting activities.
Customer relationship management.
Supporting development of new business opportunities.
Participating in sales and marketing activities .
Representing the company at conferences and trade exhibitions.
Contributing to market knowledge and development of new sales and marketing literature.
Supporting internal and group sales reporting requirements.
Adhere to all internal safety, HR, environmental and quality guidelines and procedures
Hours of work
Monday-Friday; 8am – 5pm
Education background
Degree in materials science, physics or related discipline
Previous Experience
Working knowledge of compound semiconductors
Experience of commercial or customer facing role desirable but not essential

Maintenance Technician

We operate 11 manufacturing facilities; two in Cardiff, one in Milton Keynes and one in Bath in the UK; five in the USA; one in Taiwan and one in Singapore. The Group also has 11 sales offices located in major economic centres worldwide. Due to our ongoing growth we are looking to strengthen our site Engineering and Facilities team with a technician who is willing to train, both on the job & formal study, to engineer level and be an integral to maintaining all site services & process equipment.
Key functions of the role are as follows:
Complete regular checks and inspections of all site services and reporting any discrepancies.
Assisting with electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs of all site services and production process equipment.
Undertake fault finding and repairs of equipment on site.
Assist with any new equipment installations or machinery relocations including any site preparation and site services connections.
Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks and checks.
Work with visiting service engineers and contractors as required.
Carry out minor repairs and improvements to site infrastructure.
Maintain and update equipment and site services records as required.
Hours of work
Monday-Friday; 8am – 4.30pm
Education background
HNC/ONC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Previous Experience
Experience of servicing equipment would be an advantage along with exposure in a mechanical or electrical environment
